The FDA, which is short for the Food and Drug Administration, is one of the implementing agencies of the U.S. Federal government within the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the Public Health Service(PHS). As a scientific management agency, the FDA is responsible for protecting public health through supervising and controlling U.S. national production or import of food, cosmetics, drugs, biological agents, medical devices, and radiation products. It is one of the first federal agencies to have consumer protection as its primary function. Congratulations! Canta’s oxygen concentrator successfully passes the FDA Certification.
